From a young age I worked in Germany in responsible positions as a financial controller. First a decade for a Europe-wide active building materials manufacturer and then six years first for one, later for two world-wide acting Microchip product groups of a global electronic company. For the next twelve years, my family and I lived in various countries in Europe and Africa, where I devoted myself in various organisations and functions to education and leadership training, especially for young people. After our return to Germany, I began in 2007 as a freelancer to offer lectures, seminars, training courses and consultancy services on the subject of economics/finance at an international level to a wide audience. From 2015-2019 I was CFO of a family company in the motorsports industry in England. Since returning to Germany again, I've been self-employed.

I've been married to Ruth for forty-four years. God has blessed us with four wonderful children and currently three beautiful grandchildren. At the present time we live in Norderstedt, on the northern outskirts of Hamburg.
